Terms & Conditions

 

  1. The customer is the person making the booking and is solely responsible for the booking.
  2. A non refundable deposit of £100 is required once confirmation of the booking has been received and agreed upon by both parties. If cancelling within 14 days of paying the deposit, a full refund will be given.
  3. Balance payments are required at least 60 days prior to the booked date. Failure to make the balance payment by the due date will result in Heritage Wedding Hire taking this as an instruction from the customer that they wish to cancel the booking. In this instance no refund will be due.
  4. In the event of a cancellation by the customer, irrespective of their reason for the cancelling, the full balance is non-refundable if cancelled within 60 days of the booked date.
  5. If the customer requires the vehicle for longer than the booked time there will be an additional charge of £100 per hour plus additional mileage charge where appropriate. Heritage Wedding Hire reserves the right to decline any such request in cases where anotger booking has been made that prohibits any extension of time.
  6. We accept payment by bank transfer or any online payment method (PayPal etc.)
  7. Whilst every effort is made to maintain the serviceability of the vehicle, responsibility cannot be accepted for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown. In this unlikely event, every effort will be made for the immediate repair, or the Customer will be transferred to another vehicle so that the journey can continue. Any reasonable extra cost incurred will be borne by Heritage Wedding Hire In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle, prior to the date of the booking, every effort will be made to supply an alternative vehicle(s) at the Company’s discretion. In the event of breakdown or accident, no responsibility will be accepted for missed connections and/or functions caused.
  8. The Company cannot accept responsibility for adverse weather conditions, or acts by other persons or organisations which may impact adversely on the hire period. The company/driver does not accept any responsibility of persons under 16 travelling in the vehicles whilst in motion. The responsibility of these persons lies solely with the responsible adult travelling with them.
  9. Heritage Wedding Hire reserve the right to refuse a booking, and also reserve the right to refuse entry to the vehicle or to any person(s) they deem unfit for whatever reason, and can refuse to continue the journey if any person(s) behave in a manner which may be detrimental to any other person or the vehicle and its contents. In this event, no refund of monies will be given.
  10. Only children aged 3 years and over are legally able to travel in the vehicle.
  11. Customers must note that they are liable for any damage caused inside and outside the vehicles by either themselves or any other member of their party. The Customer will agree to be liable for the total retail cost of the repair and Heritage Wedding Hire will determine the location of the repair. Heritage Wedding Hire will also impose a £100.00 valeting charge if the vehicle is soiled due to food, drink or illness.
  12. Heritage Wedding Hire will not accept any liability for any belongings lost by The Customer or any of their party whilst using its services.
  13. Heritage Wedding Hire may take photographs at your event and we may use them on our web site or for other promotional material. If you do not wish your photos to be used, please advise us at the time of booking.
  14. Smoking is prohibited inside or within the immediate vicinity of the vehicle.
  15. By making a booking, the Customer has entered into a binding contract with Heritage Wedding Hire, should a breach in contract occur by the customer then the full cost of the hire will be due to Heritage Wedding Hire.
  16. Due to the age of the vehicles, seat belts are not required to be worn by law, however they have been fitted throughout all seat within the vehicle and have been provided in the interest of your safety and are to be worn at your discretion.
  17. The vehicle does have full wedding hire insurance and public liability insurance.
  18. Additional mileage charge subject to annual review.

GDPR Statement

Your personal data is safe with us, we do not collect email addresses and forward them to third parties. Your personal data will be retained for a period of six months following the date of your wedding, at which time it will be deleted. If you require us to delete it at any point in time, please email us on hello@heritageweddinghire.co.uk with your request.
